Rachael Wong

Chief Executive Officer


Rachael is the Chief Executive Officer of Women's Forum Australia.  She is also an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Law at the University of Notre Dame Australia.  She previously worked with the Law Reform Commission in Samoa to bring about legislative reform to improve the lives of Samoan women and girls and has worked and volunteered in various legal and human rights related roles. Rachael holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Auckland and a Master of Bioethics and Health Law from the University of Otago.

Louise Brosnan

Chair


Louise is a retired chartered accountant with over 40 years experience. Louise is presently engaged in her family business. She holds and has held a variety of board positions in the educational and overseas aid sectors.

 

Marie-Therese Gibson


Marie was the Principal of Tangara School for Girls, located in Cherrybrook Sydney, for 19 years.  She has served on the Board of the Pared Foundation (Parents for Education) and also on the Executive of AHIGS NSW (Association of Heads of Independent Girls Schools).  Marie has a passion for the education of young women and is committed to fostering the well-being of women for their own sakes and for the good of the family and society. She holds an MA and Dip Ed from the University of Sydney and a PhD in Educational Sciences from the University of Navarre (Spain). 

 

Clare Bonner


Clare is a lawyer working in private practice. She currently works in civil litigation involving policy analysis and application. Clare is passionate about social and policy issues affecting women from all walks of life, and in working towards a society that better supports them. She holds a combined Bachelor of Laws and Arts degree, in addition to a Diploma of Legal Practice. Clare is also a member of NSW Young Lawyers.

 

Ciantal Bigornia


Ciantal is the Business Operations Manager of the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney's Anti-Slavery Taskforce. She brings extensive experience in campaigns, fundraising and business operations working with unions, charities and faith based organisations. Ciantal holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science from the University of Sydney and is currently completing her Masters of Business Administration at the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales Business School.
